Meet the Author
Kaye Freeman is a wife, mother, and educator. Her certification is in English language arts. In addition to homeschooling her two children, who are now grown, Kaye has taught middle school Bible and writing, GED classes, and high school English language arts.
As a homeschooling mother, Kaye began writing Bible studies for her children years ago after fruitlessly searching for a curriculum that could be independently done by children, pre-teens, and teens but did not require a lot of preparation from the parent(s) or teacher. In 2000, Kaye's workbooks began to be published. To date, she has sold thousands of Bible study workbooks to homeschoolers, churches, Christian schools, and parents who want their children to study God's Word.
Kaye's vision is to train up children so that they will love God and have His Word hidden in their hearts. With a strong spirit, these children will be able to resist people and behaviors that would lead them away from all that God has for them.

Reviews
First, I would like to thank you for both of your series! My three children and I use them daily to guide our Bible studies. They are deep and well put together, yet short enough to keep the kids' attention. We have already made it through all of your Choosing series, and this year we have begun the teen series. My kids are 9 and 11 and seem to be doing just fine with this series. God has used you as a blessing for my family and me! Keep the workbooks coming. I would be lost without knowing more books await us to venture into God's Word. There is not another series I trust as much as yours!
This curriculum incorporates more Bible verses and chapter readings than any other workbooks that I have ever used. I really like the large amount of Scripture that is read and memorized. I initially looked at the sample pages and felt good about it. My only concern was there might be teachings that I did not agree with, but I have found that not to be an issue. I highly recommend this curriculum without reservation time and time again.
First, I'd like to tell you what a HUGE blessing your Bible study has been for us. I have 3 girls: 9, 8, and 4, and this is the first Bible study that integrates everything I need, including the coloring pages. We are in the Choosing Thankfulness book right now. It is awesome! God really uses these studies to show me so much! The little mazes and puzzles are so good for reinforcing the information. Thank you again for blessing us. God bless you!
I love your curriculum and have two other friends ordering as well. There is such a lack of exciting Bible studies for kids. My 7th grader is in leadership in her youth group and historically has loved Bible class. This is what prompted me to search for something kid-friendly and life-applicable.
Wanted to let you know that we are really enjoying your Bible curriculum for younger kids. They are just the right length for our family for a devotional--not too long and overwhelming but not too short either. They have just enough meat in them as well. I appreciate that your studies are not shallow or patronizing and that they have a simple but profound application.
Thank you for your wonderful materials. I have been homeschooling for about 9 years and have continually looked for accessible, viable devotional/Bible training materials that my kids can do independently. It's a real plus that I can assess their knowledge/comprehension easily when they are finished.
Although your Choosing" curriculum is geared toward children, our family is using it for devotions; it's such a blessing! My husband and I have devoted our married lives to adopting special needs children and teaching at the AWANA Club. The TNT group would truly benefit from your books, and we would like permission to make copies. May God richly bless you!
Great study. Doing it together with my 3rd grader. Lessons are great quality and yet not too long to lose kids attention. Contains fun things as well to keep them engaged. I have seen a difference in my daughter when she is losing her self-control and I remind her of one of the lessons. I am going to purchase another one of these to do next. Highly recommend it.
I think this is a great study for kids. We are using it in a group Bible Study with children from ages 7-13.
We just started using this Bible curriculum as part of our homeschool and the kids love it! We have three children (ages 6, 3, and 10 months) and the older two really enjoy the Bible lessons and have already learned so much in just the first week of lessons. The illustrations are simple enough to captivate my 3-yr-old son's attention to help him sit through the lesson a little quieter and involved enough that they supplement the lesson for my 6-yr-old daughter. The lessons have some "meat" to them, but they aren't overwhelming, even for my 3 year old. This is curriculum that, after only one week of using, I have already recommended to some friends. If you are looking for a solid Bible curriculum to use for your children, start here!
Great book for beginning bible thematic study. Simply and attractively put together. Really well researched and really works to get kids familiar with the bible.
One of the things I like SO much is that the workbook does not contain much text of the bible. Citations and scriptural references galore, but the user must take the time to go look it all up. You simply cannot use this without a bible to hand. Since the kids must, in order to complete the lessons, look up lots of verses, the by-product is a thorough literacy of the bible.
I alos like that the book does not preach, but asks the child to go lok things up - and asks leading questions about what the messages are. The answers in the back arre general - and allow the parent to fill in details or specifics according to their beliefs.
I purchased this to use for Bible in our homeschool with our 6 year old daughter. We did the study together daily and took it slowly. My daughter reads on a 5th grade level and we took turns reading the material. She was able to answer the questions well from the explanations. It was an excellent way to teach her how to get into God's word and study. But the BEST part was watching her apply what she was learning to her life. She brought up the verses and lessons as we walked through our day. What a joy to see my beautiful baby girl walking in the truth! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to go deep into the Word of God with their child. I have already ordered Kindness and Responsibility. Please don't just plop this down in front of your child and leave them to do it alone. Make the time to spend together learning the Word. : ) There are puzzles and coloring pictures to keep things fun and engaging.
Love it! We've added it to our homeschool curriculum, and after the first lesson I saw a difference in my 2 boy's (ages 10 and 12) attitude. Plus, they're obeying because GOD said to, not just me. I will be buying the other books in this series as well!
We all need to be reminded of the blessings of obedience and this can be used for multi-age group settings. Was able to do it quickly with my older children to start the day out right.
